Hello Everyone,

 

Here are some NSSC updates as of Wednesday 11/16/05:

 

Congratulations to all the swimmers at the BU meet and Distance meet this past weekend! We had tremendous swims and the kids really took advantage of a beautiful new pool! Congratulations to all the girls who attended the North Sectional Championships at MIT this past Sunday! They represented NSSC with flying colors! We are looking forward to great swims this weekend at Seekonk!

 

Thank you to Rene Moore and Carol O'Brien for maintaining the bulletin boards at Salem State and Minuteman. If anyone would like to maintain the board at the JCC, we are looking for a volunteer, please see Dan. 

 

Seekonk Meet, November 19,20, 2005: The meet this weekend at Seekonk will be four hour sessions. On Saturday afternoon all the 100 IM's and 200 IM events have been scratched. We will be posting the warm up schedule once we receive it. Please note: All swimmers are expected at the pool 15 minutes prior to our scheduled warm ups!

 

MIT Meet Thursday - Sunday, December 8-11, 2005:  Please remember that the MIT meet is a trials and finals format meet. Swimmers have events on Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning! Finalist return on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night to re swim the event. The following links are the meet information and the NSSC projected entry and projected relay entry. Please note Friday events are scheduled for the morning! We need changes or adjustments by this Friday(11/18)!

Officials Clinic: NSSC will host a clinic for new certification and re-certification in Stroke & Turn on Tuesday, November 29th, at 6:30 PM at the Hanscom Air Force Base Pool.  Paul Burkhardt will facilitate. Please contact Coach Tony to attend.

December 8-11, 2005: MIT Trials and Finals Event Sponsorship Program:

 

With the MIT meet quickly approaching, NSSC would like to offer families a chance to sponsor events during the meet. The sponsorship would include any appropriate phrase or saying above any of the events for $10.00 per event. You would have 36 characters (letters, spaces, and punctuation) to send your message. We hope to have all the events sponsored, to help encourage our kids. Events are on a first come, first serve basis.
