Hello Everyone,
Here are some NSSC updates as of 1/16/07:
1) Blizzard Classic: The Blizzard Classic was a great
success! Thank you to all the parents and volunteers. Many of the kids swam
best times or were close to best times un- rested! This is the intent of the
meet! This allows the kids to go back and work over the next couple weeks
knowing they are ready to swim fast at Championships!
Some parents need to be reminded of our club policy regarding hosted swim
meets: One North Shore Swim Club parent per family is required to help in
all NSSC hosted meets that your child participates in. These meets are the
only fundraising responsibilities put upon each family for the entire year.
Parents will be responsible for as many sessions as your child is
participating in, per meet. Failure to satisfy the Fund Raising requirements
will result in a $200.00 assessment per session not worked.
Please note that we host many meets, because we nee to ensure that our
swimmers are getting the opportunities needed to succeed. We cannot count on
other swim teams to offer meets.To do this we need everyone's help. Dan and
I will be issuing assessments on the next statement.
3) Reminder: There is no scheduled practice at Minuteman
Tech on Wednesday 1/17/07. Please join us at the JCC or Gordon College.

Clothing: We are sorry, but we are still waiting on the
X Large jackets and the parents shirts. We will inform you of the delivery
once we know from Xtreme Silkscreen. However, we do have in stock sweat
shirts, T- shirts, backpacks, and duffle bags. If you need anything in

5) Morning practices: Morning practices have begun for the
Compass program at Salem State and Hanscom 5:30 -7:00 AM. If you have not
confirmed or been invited to practices, please speak with Dan or Tony.
