Hello Everyone,

 

Here are some NSSC updates as of 1/07/08:

 

1) The Hanscom Meet this past weekend was a great success. This was the first long course meet in the winter in New England in years, and all the coaches were extremely impressed with NSSC parents for putting such a wonderful opportunity for the kids together. Great Job everyone! The kids really took advantage as well, we had over 60% best times and more than 10 new Age Group cuts from NSSC swimmers!   

 

2) Reminder: There is no practice at Minuteman on Wednesday 1/10/08. There are no practices scheduled for Friday or Saturday at any location due to the BLIZZARD CLASSIC SWIM MEET at Salem State.

 

3) Reminder: Double sessions for Compass swimmers begin Tuesday 1/8 at Hanscom 5:15 - 6:45 AM, and Wednesday 1/9 @ Salem State 5:30- 7:00 AM.

 

4) Blizzard Classic Meet this weekend. Please remember this is a trials and finals meet. The top 8 swimmers in the 11-12 events, top 16 swimmers in the 13-14 and Open events return to swim at night. Please make sure you know where your child finishes in their respective race.

 

Please note that the times for the 10 and Under sessions for the meet this weekend have changed:

 

Saturday 10 and Under session: Warm ups: 1:30 PM, Meet starts @ 2:00 PM.

Sunday 10 and under session:    Warm ups: 1:00 PM, Meet starts @ 1:30 PM.
