Hello Everyone,
 
Here are some NSSC updates as of Friday, October 5, 2007:
 
1) October 6 distance meet and Specialty meet: The entry is final. Please note that all swimmers are expected 15 minutes before warm ups for check in and stretching. Distance meet swimmers will need their own counters and timers. The parent work schedule for the specialty meet is posted on the website. All parents are reminded that we need you to help with the running of the meet, when your child is swimming.
 
Please note that October traffic in Salem is very busy. Please leave plenty of time to get to the college, or use the alternative route posted online under directions.
 
Please wear white team shirts on Saturday.
 
Anyone who would like to donate baked goods to the hospitality rooms, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
2) Practice schedule update. The practice calendars online are correct. There are no scheduled practices on Saturday, due to the swim meet. There is no Minuteman Tech practice on Monday, Oct. 8, due to the holiday.
 
3) Halloween Classic Projected entry for October 26-28 is posted. Please note that all changes need to be finalized on or before Tuesday 10/9/07.
 
4) Hotel information for NCAC on December 1& 2, 2007: If you are planning on Staying over night at the Dartmouth meet, NSSC has the following special blocks reserved for hotels:

5) Holiday Season Military Care Package Drive: Cirstin Newland will be organizing a holiday season care package drive to support our troops. Mrs. Newland will be accepting donations at all Hanscom practices through next Thursday 10/11. She will also be collecting donations at the Distance and Specialty meet this Saturday at Salem State.
