Hello Everyone,

 

Here are two important updates for everyone:

 

1) 13 and Over New England Championships: NSSC will be running time trials on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening of the championship meet next weekend at MIT for all 13 and over swimmers. Kids who are entered in individual events or are on the relay only list will be able to participate. All 13 and overs are asked to speak with your coach to review. NSSC swimmers will be allowed to swim 1 time trial per evening.

 

Opportunity to give back at 13-19 Age Group Champs
 

Athletes: Sweatshirt drive- We would like to ask all attending athletes to give 1 older ( but in good condition), sweatshirt. These sweatshirts will go to the Home for Little Wanderers in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood. This is a great chance for the kids to give back. Sweatshirts are in demand for the spring time. http://www.thehome.org/site/PageServer?pagename=give_about Sweatshirts will be picked up at the top of the entrance, each morning, as the children make their way to the pool.

 

Parents/ Spectators: Free admission ( Not free programs) for finals session- When you donate 1 non perishable food item. These donations will go to Rosie's Place in Boston. We will need NSSC volunteers to help with these events, as well as run the swim meet! Please volunteer!

 

 

2) Sectional Championships March 25- 28, 2010: NSSC will be attending the Northeast Sectional Championships March 25-28, 2010 in Maryland. We have hotel rooms ( Hampton Inn- breakfast included), and van transportation booked. Plane tickets will be booked Monday 3/8, after the New England Championships. Once we have a final number on who is attending, we will have the final price. This will be a team meet. Kids will travel with a coaching staff member.
