MEET FORMAT: The meet will follow the tri meet format of events that are listed above under "Event List". A swimmers age will be determined as of November 15th for the entire dual meet season as well as the championship in March.
SITE: The Salem State College Competition Pool is an 8-lane, 25-yard pool with seven-foot-wide lanes and non-turbulent lane lines. Fully-automatic Colorado Time Systems electronic timing with touchpad’s at the finish end of the pool with full eight-line electronic display. There are no touchpad’s at the turn end of the pool. The finish end of the pool is 13 feet deep; the turn end of the pool is 4.5 feet deep. Spectator seating for 250. The pool is located inside the Salem State College O’Keefe Athletic Complex, 352 Lafayette Street, Salem MA 01970. Directions may be found later in this document. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).

EVENT COST: For each individual dual meet event in which a swimmer is entered a $2.00 per event surcharge to a maximum of $6.00 is added to the cost of the event and will appear on your financial statement. The purpose of this surcharge is to keep the club fees down by having the swimmers that swim the most, help in paying a portion of the clubs expenses for that meet. This fee will not be charged for relay participation swims.
WARM-UPS: NSSC will warm up from 10:00 AM and the and the meet will start at 10:45 PM. All NSSC swimmers should arrive and check in with the coaches no later than 9:45 PM.
SAFETY:
RULES: 2012 USA Swimming rules will govern all competition. Decisions by the meet referee will be final unless a written protest is lodged within 30 minutes of the heat swum.
SCORING: NO Scoring for this meet
AWARDS: No Ribbons will be awarded.
PARKING: There is ample parking available in the parking lot adjacent to the Salem State facility.
DIRECTIONS: From 128N take Exit 25A toward Salem
(114E). Follow 114E through downtown Salem onto Route 1A (Canal Street). Stay
on Canal Street 1 1/2 miles, Salem State O'Keefe Center will be on left with
ample parking. Walk up ramp to complex entrance.
